Polished concrete is achieved by treating concrete with a chemical densifier then progressively grinding it with finer tools. Typically, we use diamond grinding cup wheels and diamond polishing pads. Usually, concrete is not considered polished until it has been ground using 400 grit pads. We normally finish with either 800, 1500 or 3000 grit. WE can also apply numerous stains and other types of dyes to enhance the color of the polished concrete.
